ICE BATHING BERLIN
Ice bathing without backyard experiments: guided, at around 0 °C, with an infrared sauna and a rest zone inside a listed 1893 horse stable. Address: Boxhagener Straße 96, 10245 Berlin.
Cold water is a short, clearly dosed stimulus: vessels narrow, circulation responds and the body releases noradrenaline. That is where the clear, awake state people describe after a bath comes from.
For recovery after training, for your head after a dense workday and as practice in handling stress — ice bathing is less a dare than an exercise in calm breathing under stimulus.
Arrive 10 minutes before your slot and we'll show you the changing room, showers and the flow. Before the first round there's a short breathing intro; after that you decide how many rounds you do.
The guided ice bath runs with a maximum of 6 to 8 people — small enough that someone really watches your breathing. In Free Flow you're free with your time and use sauna, ice bath and red light in your own order.
A Free-Flow slot in the Fire & Ice zone costs 5 Zencoins and lasts 2 hours (120 minutes) — ice bath, infrared sauna, red light, massage chairs and rest area included. No membership, no minimum term.
Please bring swimwear, a towel and pool slides. A towel & slippers set is available on site for €5 per visit.
Pregnancy, cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, epilepsy or an acute infection don't automatically rule cold out — but we'll pick a gentler format or skip the ice bath. Just let us know at check-in.

30 to 60 seconds is plenty to start with; experienced bathers stay 1 to 3 minutes. Calm breathing matters more than duration — two to three short baths a week beat one long one.
