What is the difference between hatha and vinyasa?
In hatha, postures are built and held one by one with pauses in between. Vinyasa links the postures into a flow and is therefore more dynamic.
HATHA YOGA BERLIN
Clear postures, a calm pace, plenty of time for alignment: hatha yoga at Boxhagener Straße 96, 10245 Berlin in Berlin Friedrichshain.
In hatha yoga postures are built one by one and held for a few breaths. Between them there are pauses in which you notice what has changed. The pace is calmer than in vinyasa and alignment is explained in more detail.
Simple breathing exercises and a short meditation are part of it — the classic foundation most other styles of yoga are built on.
60 to 75 minutes with breathing to arrive, a warm-up, standing, seated and floor postures with clear cues and variations, then final relaxation. All you need is comfortable clothing; mats, blocks and bolsters are here.
Many people add a Free-Flow slot in the Fire & Ice zone: infrared sauna, ice bath at 0–2 °C, red light and a rest zone — 2 hours for €27.50.
